Description

Day 1 : Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Station/ Junction Bus Stand to Thimphu (2334 meter/ 7658 feet) transfer in 7:25Hrs. of 311Kms.:

We receive you on arrival & transfer to Thimpu via Phuentsholing after processing tourist permit formalities. Thimphu lies in a beautiful valley, sprawling up a hillside on the west bank of the Thimphu Chuu River and has a total area of about 1809 sq. km. Visitors can enjoy relaxing walk in the valley at evening. Overnight stay at Thimpu.

Day 2 : Thimphu full day city tour (Timing : 8 Am to 5 Pm) :

After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), National Memorial Chorten (Monument) and Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit, Changangkha Monastery, Motithankg Takin Preserve Centre; Takin the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 3 : Thimphu to Punakha/Wangdue (1200 meter/ 3960 feet) Transfer in 2:24Hrs. Of 85Kms. :

After breakfast drive to Punakha / Wangdue. On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3100m/10170ft) to view the higher Himalayas. Arrival at Punakha check in at hotel.

Half Day Sightseeing of Punakha :

After noon visit Punakha Dzong - built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952. After that take a short excursion trip to visit the Chimi Lhakhang - The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Punakha / Wangdue.

Day 4 : Full day Gangtey/ Phobjika valley excursion - One way 81Km. at 2:36Hrs.:

Morning after breakfast, drive to Gangtey. The valley of Gangtey, is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled places in Bhutan. The surprise of finding such a wide, flat valley without any trees after the hard climb through dense forests is augmented by an impression of vast space, and is an extremely rare experience in Bhutan where most of the valleys are tightly enclosed. A few kilometers beyond the Gangtey Monastery, on the valley floor lies the fascinating valley of Phobjikha. Afternoon visit Gangtey Gonpa (monastery), perched on a ridge overlooking the valley. Then a walking excursion to Gangtey Nature Trail. This pleasurable walk provides you a nice feel of Phobjikha valley. Later return drive to Punakha / Wangdue for overnight stay.

Day 5 : Punakha/Wangdue to Paro (2200M/7,218Ft) Transfer in 3:20Hrs. of 126Kms. with Local Sightseeing:

After breakfast drive to Paro, on the way stop at Lamperi to visit Royal Botanical Park - the Park contains a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna and features a huge species of plants and animals including endangered species. On arrival check in at the hotel.Afternoon visit Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious Thangka, etc. Rinpung Dzong - Meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels". The Dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 6 : Full Day Paro city tour (Timing : 8am to 5pm):

After breakfast, visit the National Museum housed in the Ta-Dzong which was built in 1656 and served as the watch tower of Paro Dzong in the past. Visit Paro Dzong, also called the Rinpung Dzong, which means fortress on a heap of Jewels. Paro Dzong is one of the most impressive and well-known Dzongs of Bhutan and was built in 1644. After lunch, proceed towards Drukgyel Dzong,also known as the fortress of victory Drukgyel Dzong was built by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1649 to commemorate the victory over Tibetan invaders in 1644. Evening stroll around the local market. Overnight at Paro.

Day 7 : Paro to Gorumara, Dooars Transfer in 5:30Hrs. Of 244Kms.:

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Gorumara - Gorumara National Park is a National Park in the Dooars region of the Himalayan foothills. It is a medium-sized park with grasslands and forests. It is primarily known for its population of Indian rhinoceros. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Gorumara.

Day 8 : Gorumara, Dooars to NJP/ Bagdogra Airport/ Junction Bus Stand transfer in 1:50Hrs. Of 76Kms.:

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport/ Junction Bus Stand for departure. Tour end with sweet memories.

Package Cost Includes:

Arrival Assistance.
Hotel, Accommodation & meal as per plan.
Transfer & Sight seeing in exclusive vehicle. The vehicle would be availbale as per itinerary only on drop basis & not on disposal basis. Using the vehicle for any activity outside the itinerary is not permissible.

Tariff Assumptions:

Tariff is per head on twin sharing basis.
Each rrom can accommodate maximum of one extra bed.
Upto 3 heads will be accommodated in one Non AC Indica/ Wagon R or Similar, 4 to 8 heads in Non AC Sumo/ Victa/ Bolero/ Max etc., coach will accommodate 9 to 16 heads.

Child Policy:

Children upto the age of 5 years are complimentary.
Children 6 to 12 years will be charged "Extra Bed" or "Child without Bed" depending on service taken.
Above 12 years will be considered as an adult for costing purposes.
The guests must carry proof of age of the child in absence of which, the hotel my put additional charges.

Package Cost Excludes:

Air Fare or Train Fare.
Expenses of personal nature such as Laundry, Telephone calls, tips, Liquor, Mineral water, Airport tax, Insurance, Meal outside Hotel, Refreshment on arrival.
Entry to Park, Monuments, Camera Charges, Guide or escort charges.
Additional car usage beyond suggested itinerary.
Any supplementary service not mentioned in itinerary or mentioned in itinerary as a suggested addition such as Ropeway ride, Boating, Yak Ride, Rafting, Toy Train Ride, Helicopter ride or any similar activity.
Any other item not specified in “Cost Includes”.
Additional or incremental expenses arising out of acts of god, political disturbance, strike etc.

Any change in government tax structure and amount becoming due thereto.

Booking Proucedure :

50% Payment has to be made in advance and the balance amount must be paid & as per time limit given at the time of confirmation.

Payments can be remitted through any of the following mode and is subject to realization.

Demand Draft: In favor of Cart Your Trip payable at Siliguri.

At Par Cheque: Issue in the name of Cart Your Trip.

Cancellation-Rules :

* 20% cancellation charge for cancelling more than 15 days in advance. * 30% cancellation charge if cancelled between 15 to 8 days before arrival * 50% cancellation charge if cancelled between 7 to 4 days before arrival * 75% cancellation charge if cancelled between 3 to 1 days before arrival * No refund is possible if cancelled on the day of arrival or later

1. Cancellation charge is applicable on the total package cost. 2. No refund is possible if the tour is cancelled due to bad weather, civil/political disturbance, or anything beyond human control. But there will be full cooperation from the entire team to make an alternate arrangement in such cases. 3. In case your tour booking involves any government accommodation or services, such as tourism department lodges etc. The Cancellation policy will applicable on the package amount excluding government booking. For government booking, the cancellation rules of the concerned authority will be applicable. 4. In case of very high season or special situations, we may communicate a different cancellation rule to you. If Our team members communicated a cancellation rule different from the one mentioned above, then the above rule will not be applicable. Rather the rules communicated by our sales team member will take precedence.
