    There are domestic airports in Assam, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura. They have direct flights from other parts of India. Dibrugarh airport and Silchar airport are the two major airports in Assam. Helicopter services are also offered in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram.
